I was going through old files on my computer and dug up this little thing. It was supposed to be projected onto an enormous communist flag for the opening of my final drama exam piece and I spent over a week making it. After fretting for ages over whether the Red Square parade should come at the start or end and whether the fading out was a second too long, I ended up with a beautiful, magnificent, enthralling projection of… a blue screen. Though this slight technological hiccup didn’t take away too much from the performance it was rather disheartening sitting behind that flag (awaiting my torture scene, which seemed to have occurred 30 seconds early). So I’ve decided to post it here just to put my mind to rest as it’s been over a year and I still can’t stop being mildly annoyed at the person who was in charge of the technical stuff whenever I think back to it. Watch it, don’t watch it, I don’t mind but if you feel like your day has severely lacked some communism and good ol’ Stalin, go for it.

While out on a walk in a park I found this old and rather decrepit motor. A friend managed to find out that it’s a Perkins from the plate on the diesel pump but we’re unsure what exact vehicle it was in, either a van or small truck of some sort. Unfortunately I had already run out of film by the time I stumbled upon it so had to make do with my phone.
